About Joe Sabourin…

Joe Sabourin is an acoustic guitarist based in New England. He is both a solo performer and the leader of multiple groups, including a 5 piece wedding band and jazz and folk trios. He has worked as a wedding/private event musician for almost a decade, playing for wedding ceremonies, receptions, birthday parties, proposals, and corporate events.

He has released four solo instrumental albums, with more planned for release in 2021. His latest releases, Dead Leaves and The Winter Sessions, Vol. 2, both feature a mixture of original tunes and traditional folk songs. While his steel string Martin acoustic to be his signature instrumental voice, he also plays classical and electric guitar.

Working within a myriad of styles, Sabourin’s writing and arranging pull heavily from folk, pop, and jazz music. Over his 10+ year career, he has played guitar for Joe Sabourin Trio (Folk/Jazz), Panoramic View (Island Jazz/Reggae), My Mother’s Moustache (Folk), Copouts (Celtic), Cover Story Entertainment (Wedding Band, Solo Performer), and more. In addition, he has supported multiple singer-songwriters as both a guitarist and pedal steel player.

As a musician, Sabourin is focused on the needs of the performance. His experience playing multiple styles of music informs his musicianship, as has his time playing multiple instruments from a young age.

Joe Sabourin is available as a solo musician for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, private events, parties, or restaurants. He can also be hired as a studio musician, or with his jazz trio or wedding band. To get in touch with questions or to book an event, please use the Contact page.
